Perishable Food & No Returns
All products sold by Ukrainian Smokehouse are perishable food items and are prepared in small batches specifically for each order.
For food safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any food products.
Preparation & Shipping Responsibility
All items are made to order in a licensed retail kitchen and are shipped fresh using insulated packaging and ice packs when required.
Once an order has been shipped and transferred to the carrier (UPS or other courier), ownership and responsibility for the shipment passes to the customer and the carrier.
Delivery times shown at checkout — including UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, or Ground services — are carrier estimates and not guaranteed.
Carrier Delays & Refunds
We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, including but not limited to:
- Â weather conditions
- Â mechanical or routing delays
- Â carrier operational issues
- Â missed delivery attempts
Because these factors are outside of our control, we do not offer refunds or replacements for carrier delays once a package has been shipped.
However, if a shipment experiences an extreme delay (significantly beyond the carrier’s standard delivery window) and the product arrives clearly spoiled or unsafe to consume, please contact us within 12 hours of delivery with:
- Â clear photos of the packaging and contents
- Â your order number
Each case is reviewed individually. At our discretion, we may offer a partial refund, store credit, or reshipment, depending on the situation.
Incorrect or Damaged Orders
If you receive:
- Â the wrong item
- Â missing items
- Â visibly damaged packaging upon delivery
Please notify us within 12 hours of delivery with photos, and we will promptly work with you to resolve the issue.
Customer Responsibility
To ensure safe delivery, customers are responsible for:
- Â selecting an appropriate shipping method for their location
- Â monitoring tracking information
- Â ensuring someone is available to receive the package
We strongly recommend UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air, depending on your state and climate.
